Hi sweets :) For my foreign readers, today is Norway’s constitution day, which we proud Norwegians love to celebrate! Congrats everyone :) We’ve watched the parade and eaten lots of yummy food, I love the 17th of May!! And I love wearing my gorgeous ‘bunad’ which my grandmother made for me ♥

Having Fun With It

Yesterday’s look for a meeting, where my new bag played the main role. I dropped the curly hair and pink lips, and went for straight hair, which is how my hair is naturally, and red lips. That’s what I really love about fashion, you can change the way you present yourself so easily. I like having an undefinable style, meaning changing it up from day to day. Just having fun with it, that’s what fashion is to me.

Detox-ish

Hi sweeties :) I’m sitting here with my breakfast/lunch, which is strawberries, watermelon and carrot juice. I decided to try a little detox, nothing serious though, I’ll probably still eat regular dinners, but I’ll try to eat fruit and vegetables for the other meals. After this weekend which was filled with alcohol I just feel dirty inside, so I’ll try this for a week or so. Not to lose weight, but to feel fresher and cleaner. I love veggies so I don’t think it’ll be too difficult :) A lot of you have been asking for my carrot juice recipe, it’s still just a kilo of carrots and four oranges. Soo yummy, I make it every single morning!

My new bag is finally here! Yay! I love it. So stylish, and I can fit my huge camera in it, which is impossible with almost all of my other bags.

I ordered it at Ebay, which is genius, especially for us Norwegians who don’t exactly have the best shopping opportunities. I order so many different things on Ebay, everything from lip glosses from brands I can’t find in Norway, to more expensive things like this bag.

Ordering at Ebay is really not as difficult as a lot of people think. It’s actually really really easy. There’s a few important things though. Always check out the seller’s feedback. If you want a Chanel bag, and you see that the seller only has for instance 80% positive feedback and ships from China, you should probably steer clear. I usually only order from sellers with 99 or 100% positive feedback, and I prefer sellers who’ve sold a lot, not just a few things. Also, read the information well, and don’t be afraid to email the seller with questions.

This bag was only a week old when the seller posted it on Ebay, so it’s practically new. A good buy! I usually don’t have to pay any customs when I order from Ebay, a good tips is to ask the seller to mark the package as a gift. Today I had to pay customs though, annoying..

If you have any questions regarding shopping on Ebay, shoot, I consider myself quite an expert after years of Ebay shopping :)

The Dale Oen Experience

Jeg ble, som resten av Norge, veldig berørt av det tragiske dødsfallet til Alexander Dale Oen. Han var så utrolig inspirerende, både som idrettsutøver og som person, selv om jeg kun ‘kjente’ han via media. Han planla sammen med broren å starte et fond kalt ‘The Dale Oen Experience’, som skulle hjelpe barn, unge og vanskeligstilte å komme seg ut i naturen, samt gi dem opplevelser for livet.

‘Ønsket var å inspirerere barna til å strekke seg, finne sin kapasitet og se sin egen verdi. Sammen med broren Robin var avdøde Alexander Dale Oen frustrert over at norske politikere i en hel generasjon har forsømt seg mot landets tilbud til barn og voksne som enten vil lære, eller bli bedre til, å svømme. Det var imidlertid viktig for Dale Oen at dette ikke ble et svømmetungt prosjekt. Det skulle handle om naturopplevelser for barn, unge og vanskeligstilte. Utgangspunktet var at dette skulle spre glede om det å være i naturen. Å skape engasjement og opplevelser for barn, unge og vanskeligstilte. Det skulle være noe grensesprengende med ekskursjoner og opplevelser for barn’ skriver Tv2.

Hvis dere har noen kroner å avse syns jeg at dette er en utrolig fin sak å støtte.

I Miss It Already

Good morning sunshines! I’m sitting here reminiscing about the weekend, I want to go back! One of the best trips ever, for sure. My stomach still hurts from all the laughing. Did you guys have a good weekend? Is it just me, or have you become sort of silent lately? I know how it is, just looking through blogs without commenting, but ah.. I miss more feedback. I’m not gonna complain though, because I know exactly how it is myself :) Yesterday I took the day off to collect some energy, so beat from the weekend! I managed to clean the whole house and shower Bella though, which was quite a task. I try to stop posting pictures from my iPhone on the blog, but you can check out a cute picture of my soaking wet little princess on my Facebook page.
